Small, steady, daily
Building good deeds into habits that last
A few goals you keep every day, tied to the prayers you already pray, are worth more than a long list dropped after a week.
Start with two or three good deeds
Smaller than you think. Pick goals you are sure you can keep, such as the tasbih after each prayer and one act of kindness, and do them every day for two weeks before adding more. A habit grows from repetition, not from a big start.
See where you can give, country by country, with every pound shown.
Tie each habit to a prayer
Let the salah be the reminder. The five prayers already shape your day, so hang a habit on each one: the tasbih straight after the salam, a page of reading after Fajr, Ayat al-Kursi in bed after Isha.
Keep the intention fresh
Count, but don’t perform. Actions are judged by their intentions (Sahih al-Bukhari 1). A tracker can slowly turn worship into a score, so now and then stop counting for a day and simply do the deeds for Allah.
After a missed day
Begin again at the next prayer. Everyone misses days, and a gap is no reason to give up the whole habit. Asking forgiveness and returning is itself loved: the Prophet ﷺ asked Allah’s forgiveness more than seventy times a day (Sahih al-Bukhari 6307).
Help each other
Share the goal, not the tally. Invite a friend or your family to choose the same small goal for a month, and check in on each other kindly.
