One point for each tick or count. Points are only your own tally to keep a habit going, not a measure of reward.

    Prayer

    • The five prayers on time

Fajr, Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha, each in its time.

Prayer is prescribed for the believers at set times (Quran 4:103).

    • Fajr

Pray Fajr, with the congregation if you can.

Whoever prays Fajr is under Allah’s protection (Sahih Muslim 657).

    • The twelve sunnah rakats

Four before Zuhr and two after, two after Maghrib, two after Isha and two before Fajr.

A house in Paradise is built for whoever prays them (Sahih Muslim 728).

    • Tasbih after each prayer

Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah and Allahu akbar 33 times each, then la ilaha illallah to make 100.

Sins are forgiven even if they are like the foam of the sea (Sahih Muslim 597).

    • Night prayer or witr

A few rakats after Isha or before Fajr, ending with witr.

The best prayer after the obligatory ones is the prayer at night (Sahih Muslim 1163).

    Remembrance

    • Subhanallahi wa bihamdih × 100

Say “Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Him” a hundred times in the day.

Sins are wiped away, even if they are as much as the foam on the sea (Sahih al-Bukhari 6405).

    • Subhanallah × 100

Say “Glory be to Allah” a hundred times.

A thousand good deeds are written, or a thousand sins wiped away (Sahih Muslim 2698).

    • La ilaha illallahu wahdahu × 10

La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd, wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadir.

Like freeing four souls from the children of Isma‘il (Sahih al-Bukhari 6404).

    • Istighfar × 100

      Say “Astaghfirullaha wa atubu ilayh”.

The Prophet ﷺ turned to Allah in repentance a hundred times a day (Sahih Muslim 2702).

    • Sayyid al-Istighfar

      Morning and evening.

Whoever says it with certainty and dies that day or night is of the people of Paradise (Sahih al-Bukhari 6306).

    • Blessings on the Prophet ﷺ × 10

Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammad, or the fuller Durood Ibrahim.

Whoever sends one blessing on him, Allah sends ten on them (Sahih Muslim 408).

    • La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah

      Say it whenever you remember.

A treasure from the treasures of Paradise (Sahih al-Bukhari 6384).

    Quran

    • Read or learn some Quran

A page, a few verses, or one verse learned by heart.

The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it (Sahih al-Bukhari 5027).

    • Ayat al-Kursi before sleep

      Quran 2:255, in bed.

A guardian from Allah stays with you through the night (Sahih al-Bukhari 2311).

    People

    • Smile at someone

At home, at work, at the shop.

Your smile for your brother is a charity (Jami‘ at-Tirmidhi 1956).

    • Spread the salam

Greet people with “As-salamu ‘alaykum”, those you know and those you don’t.

Spreading the greeting of peace brings love between believers (Sahih Muslim 54).

    • Say good, or stay quiet

A day without backbiting, mockery or harsh words.

Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should say good or keep silent (Sahih al-Bukhari 6018).

    • Keep in touch with family

Call, visit or help a relative.

Keeping family ties widens your provision (Sahih al-Bukhari 5986).

    • One act of kindness

Help someone, give something, lift a load.

Every act of kindness is a charity (Sahih al-Bukhari 6021).

    • Thank someone

Say thank you, and mean it.

Whoever doesn’t thank people hasn’t thanked Allah (Sunan Abi Dawud 4811).

    • Learn something about your deen

A short lesson, a book chapter, a talk.

Whoever takes a path to seek knowledge, Allah makes easy for him a path to Paradise (Sahih Muslim 2699).

How the good deeds tracker works

Pick, tap, done. Every deed on the list is one the Quran or a hadith encourages, such as the twelve sunnah rakats (Sahih Muslim 728), with its source printed beside it.

Choose the ones you want as daily goals, then tap each time you do one. The bar fills, today’s tally rises, and your streak grows on every day with at least one tick. Clear your browser’s data and the history goes with it.

What the points are, and what they aren’t

Your own tally, not a scoreboard. The points only count your ticks, a nudge to keep going. They are not a measure of reward: what is accepted, and how much it weighs, is with Allah alone. Even the Prophet ﷺ said that no one enters Paradise by his deeds alone, but only through Allah’s mercy (Sahih al-Bukhari 6463).

The deeds most loved by Allah are those done regularly, even if they are small.
    Sahih al-Bukhari 6464

    Little and often

A short list you keep beats a long one you drop. That hadith is the whole idea of the tracker (Sahih al-Bukhari 6464): two or three goals you can manage every day. For the meaning and words of the dhikr on the list, see the tasbih and dhikr guide from Muslims Around the World.

    Good deeds tracker: your questions

    Is my data private?

Yes. Your ticks, goals and history are stored only in your browser’s local storage on this device. We have no account system and receive nothing.

Can I use it on two devices?

Each device keeps its own list, because nothing is stored on our side. Pick the device you have with you most.

Why does a missed day reset my streak?

A streak counts days in a row with at least one deed. Missing a day is normal: start again the next day. The week chart still shows your effort.

Can I add my own deeds?

Not yet. Every deed here carries a reference, so we add them ourselves after checking the source.
